In the Qur’an, God (called “Allah” in Arabic) is described as “the Most Just” Who maintains His creation in justice. We read: Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge – [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Allah’s will isn’t constrained by moral logic, rational standards or ethical systems. It’s not ontological; it’s a matter of His volition.” But that doesn’t mean humans are off the hook.
